Nov 27 Santiago City Tour

Today we went on a sightseeing tour of the city and San Cristobal Hill. There were wonderful views of both old and new. We also scoured some flea markets.

Beautiful modern buildings

Old and new architecture

Funicular ride down

Panoramic Views of Santiago

I hate the graffiti

This is where started for the Funicular ride up

Couldn’t quite figure out that these statues were by our hotel , but we enjoyed them

The financial district

Going down —Funicular ride down

Saw lots of bikers

You have to appreciate the old architecture

I like the pigeon sitting on the past President of Chile, but that’s just me.

More views of Santiago with its 7 million people.

  1. Yes, that pigeon is a nice photo. There used to be a funicular called Angel's Flight in downtown L.A. that took you to the shops on the bluff behind the downtown. I loved it.
